OUR STORY

Hey there I'm Judes

I’m the founder of Warrior Addict. Here is a little story about how I ended up here—and why I, first off, created a men’s sportswear brand, which, I guess, is slightly unusual given that I am a woman.

WHO WE ARE

Warrior Addict is not just a sportswear brand; it's a movement built on challenging norms and driving meaningful change. We design Solution-Driven Yoga & Sportswear that stands out from the crowd, committed to making those small, 1% marginal gains that compound into extraordinary results. Our brand stands for longevity, not a fast exit, and is built on our values of People, Planet & Product.

MY STORY

THE CHALLENGE

When I was 14, my Chemistry teacher, Mr. Lee, told me I wasn’t clever enough to take GCSE Chemistry. He singled me out—along with three others—as one of the "degenerates" he deemed intellectually unfit.

THE DECISION

For a moment, I was stunned into silence. But instead of accepting his judgment, I thought, “Ge lost Mr. Lee.” I decided not only would I take Chemistry—I’d ace it and make him eat his words.

THE VICTORY

A few weeks later, Mr. Lee stood at the front of the class reading out our test results. Imagine his surprise (and my sheer delight) when he announced that I had come top of the class.

THE LESSON

That experience taught me something powerful: your potential is limitless. You can achieve anything you set your mind to—no matter who doubts you. And, as it turns out, I quite enjoy proving people wrong.

CREATING WARRIOR ADDICT

Before I launched Warrior Addict, I founded and ran a successful real estate agency in the South of France. That definitely came with its challenges—being a 22-year-old British girl—but through grit, lots of ignorance, and a bit of luck, my co-founder and I built a pretty cool business.
A few years on, and as a complete yoga addict, I felt it was time for a pivotal shift in my career. What better than to combine my passion for yoga and business? So, I founded Warrior Addict. True to form, I chose not to start a women’s yoga brand—instead, I launched a men’s one!
There were lots of reasons for this. Mainly, I saw a market opportunity. But I also liked the idea of building a slow fashion brand based on sustainable values—and, being honest, I knew I’d find it easier to stick to those principles with men’s clothing. As a woman, I’m a total sucker for new fashion fads and trends. I was completely new to the fashion industry, but I dove in—reading everything I could about sustainable fashion and taking courses at Central Saint Martins to learn the skills I needed. Then, I launched Warrior Addict and the story began....
It’s not always easy, but I love what I do. I’m still passionate about bringing a brand to life that’s rooted in our core principles: People,Planet, Product. And nothing beats hearing your incredible feedback about our gear.
Sometimes the best things in life come from the risks we almost didn’t take—so go for it. You might just surprise yourself.

These leggings are now one of my favourite pairs. Aside from the ethical credentials (being cradle-to-cradle and compostable) they have a soft feel, stretchy and really really comfortable. I like how they sit on my legs and abdomen too. Very flattering and comfortable. Thank you!

I love my Kati Kaia mat so much that I now have two. Not only are they sustainably made but they are literal works of art. They look and feel so beautiful that they are just lovely to have around and gorgeous to practice on. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new mat!
